Grief care is a wide field and most of it works under different names. People doing the same work look for training, jobs, and colleagues in different places. GriefField is built for all of them.

Grief covers loss of every kind. Death, divorce, job loss, illness, estrangement, identity change, career transition. The work you do with any of it belongs here.

Foundations of Non-Clinical Grief Support

A practical course for people who support grieving clients, patients, families, and communities outside a clinical setting.

It covers how grief works, how to show up for someone in it, where non-clinical support ends and clinical care begins, and how to refer when it does.

You finish with a certificate of completion from GriefField.

Enrollment opens from the course page when the course goes live.

Four sections, four plain verbs

Every listing carries the same labels: who runs it, format, location, cost, duration, and date.

Learn
Training and courses

Trainings, certificates, and courses in grief and loss, hosted on GriefField or linked to the provider who runs them. GriefField's own courses sort with everyone else's and are never featured.

Work
Jobs and roles

Grief care jobs, contract roles, and volunteer positions. Hospice, funeral service, chaplaincy, nonprofits, EAP, private practice. Every post names the employer and links to the original posting.

Gather
Groups and events

Support groups, workshops, retreats, conferences, and webinars, with dates, format, and location so you can tell at a glance whether it fits.

Use
Books, tools, organizations

Books, podcasts, apps, tools, and organizations worth knowing about, each with a short neutral description of what it is.

Listed, not ranked GriefField describes what's out there and lets you decide.

A listing is a listing

A listing on GriefField means it's listed on GriefField, nothing more. The site doesn't vet, endorse, rank, or certify anything on it. Each listing says who runs it and what it costs so you can judge it yourself.

Nothing stale stays up

Jobs, courses, and events are re-confirmed on a schedule. Anything that closes, fills, or expires comes down.

Continuing education, named or not called

A course is called continuing education only when a named approving body has accepted it, and the listing names the body. Everything else is professional development or a certificate of completion, and the listing says so.

GriefField is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any credentialing board, association, or school.
